Here at Wag-N-Tail Puppies, special bonds are formed. Dusk, a young boy with autism, needed a furry friend who could become his loyal companion and service dog. His mother carefully laid out what was needed in a puppy and we at Wag-N-Tail Puppies started searching for the perfect dog.
Among all the playful puppies, one stood out - a gentle soul with kind eyes and a loving heart. His mother tested the puppies to see which puppy reacted in the best way to become Dusk's devoted partner and embark on a journey of training and friendship like no other. His mother asked us to do some training to ensure that the puppy was exposed to as many sounds and experiences as possible.
Over the following months, we at Wag-N-Tail prepared the Shihchon for the role she would play in Dusk’s life. We raise all puppies using a Bio-Sensor technique to expose the puppy to all sorts of stimuli. We crate trained the puppy and took her on rides in cars as well as trucks. We started leash training so the puppy learned special skills to support Dusk in his daily life. From providing comfort during meltdowns to sensing anxiety and offering reassuring cuddles, this furry Shihchon would become an invaluable part of Dusk's world.
The bond that formed between Dusk and his service dog-in-training was pure magic. Together, they continue to face challenges with courage (and sloppy kisses), celebrate victories with joy (and treats), and show the world the incredible power that puppy unconditional love can have in a person’s life. This is why we never get tired here at Wag-N-Tails of welcoming puppies into this world and getting them the best homes we could ever find for them.

To hold a specific puppy, we do require a deposit.
